Bowen Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, and anyone working on behalf of our organization.

4. Designated Safeguarding Lead / 指定保护主管

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is responsible for:

All staff and volunteers undergo:

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks / 增强型DBS检查

5.2 Training / 培训

All staff receive:

6. Recognizing Abuse / 识别虐待

Types of abuse include:

Physical abuse: Hitting, shaking, throwing, burning, or otherwise causing physical harm
Emotional abuse: Persistent emotional maltreatment causing severe adverse effects
Sexual abuse: Forcing or enticing a child to take part in sexual activities
Neglect: Persistent failure to meet a child's basic physical and psychological needs

7. What to Do If You Have Concerns / 如果您有顾虑该怎么办

If you have concerns about a child's welfare:

Listen: Allow the child to speak freely without leading questions
Reassure: Tell them they've done the right thing by speaking to you
Do not promise confidentiality: Explain you may need to share the information
Record: Write down exactly what was said as soon as possible
Report: Immediately inform the Designated Safeguarding Lead

All records are stored securely and in compliance with GDPR

All allegations against staff will be:

Physical restraint is only used in emergencies to prevent harm and is always documented.
