About Bowen Education

Bowen Education was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in Manchester, UK. We are a comprehensive Chinese language and cultural education institution registered and accredited by Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) with Tax-Free Childcare government subsidy eligibility. We are committed to providing systematic and professional Chinese language and cultural education for Chinese heritage children and children of other ethnic backgrounds, helping them build confident cultural identities and global perspectives in a diverse society.
Guided by our educational philosophy of "Learn · Share · Bridge," Bowen Education has built an educational ecosystem that integrates academic growth, character development, and cultural identity through three core systems: language teaching, cultural promotion, and community programs.

Our Story
From a small language school to a comprehensive education group
2018
Foundation
Bowen Chinese School was established in Manchester to provide quality Chinese education to the local community. Starting with just 30 students and 2 teachers, we began our journey in Chinese language education.
2019
Expansion
Launched Bowen Tuition Centre, specializing in GCSE and A-Level Chinese exam preparation. Established partnership with Henan University, China, for teacher training and cultural exchange programmes.
2020
Community Programmes
Introduced Chess Club and Badminton Club to promote holistic student development. Began organizing cultural activities and festival celebrations to strengthen community cohesion.
2021-2025
Growth & Recognition
Student enrollment grew to over 500, achieving a 100% GCSE pass rate. Became the recognized leading Chinese education provider in Greater Manchester, expanding into a comprehensive education group offering diverse programmes.
