Tracing Chinese Cultural Heritage, Inheriting Chinese Spirit

2025 Henan Root-Seeking Journey

In the summer of 2025, Bowen Education organized outstanding student representatives to visit Henan, China, participating in the "Affection for China · Root-Seeking Journey · Meet Henan · Root Camp" summer camp hosted by the China Overseas Chinese Federation and organized by the Henan Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation and Kaifeng City Overseas Chinese Federation. This event brought together overseas Chinese teenagers from around the world, experiencing the profound heritage of Chinese civilization through ten days of cultural experience and on-site learning, seeking cultural roots and inheriting Chinese spirit.

Tracing Cultural Roots

In the journey of tracing cultural roots, students visited the Hakka Origin Memorial Hall in Luoyang, gaining a deep understanding of the historical trajectory of Hakka ancestors migrating from the Central Plains to the south, reflecting on their own cultural identity and the formation of "family memories." Through rich exhibits and explanations, children personally felt the historical weight and emotional depth carried by "root culture."

Immersive Cultural Experience

Students also specially visited "Only Henan · Drama Fantasy City," immersively listening to stories about "Yellow River, land, grain, and inheritance."
