🏫 Chinese Course Introduction
Bowen Chinese School's curriculum system covers all stages of learning from Pinyin Foundation to Advanced Reading and Writing, with clear grade divisions and progressive content.
The school adopts a systematic Huawen textbook series, combined with Topic-based Learning, allowing students to learn language and understand culture in authentic contexts. Classes not only focus on phonetics, vocabulary, and grammar training, but also integrate Chinese history, traditional festivals, cultural stories, and modern life elements, helping children comprehensively improve in "listening, speaking, reading, and writing."
Each week, students will participate in:
- Two hours of Huawen course learning
- One hour of language application class
- Half an hour of one-on-one online tutoring
Huawen Textbook Learning
The Huawen main course focuses on developing language fundamentals and reading and writing abilities, helping students systematically master Chinese knowledge.
The language application class uses interactive teaching and situational expression to enable students to "express in Chinese and think in Chinese" in real environments.
This "main course + application course" teaching model ensures both the systematization of language learning and enhanced practical application abilities, allowing students to naturally use Chinese both inside and outside the classroom.
Additionally, the school organizes students to participate in YCT (Youth Chinese Test) and HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) every academic year, testing learning outcomes with international standards and allowing students to make steady progress along a clear learning path.
Bowen Chinese Language Application Class (Compulsory)
The core of language learning lies in application. Bowen's Chinese language application class aims to make Chinese "come alive and be used" for children through rich and diverse classroom formats, truly transforming language into a tool for expression and thinking.

- Picture Book Reading Class: Cultivate language sense and reading comprehension through stories
- Recitation Class: Train pronunciation, intonation, and language expressiveness

- Cultural Extension Class: Learn about traditional Chinese festivals and folk culture
- Pinyin Intensive Class: Build a solid foundation in phonetics and improve pronunciation accuracy

Immersive Learning Experience
To achieve a truly immersive learning experience, the school arranges:
- Three hours of Chinese immersive classroom learning per week, with full Chinese communication in class
- Half an hour of free one-on-one online tutoring every Saturday, with teachers providing targeted improvement based on individual student needs

Course content covers pinyin, conversation, writing, and cultural extension, designed by professional teachers based on students' age, proficiency level, and learning goals. Students can flexibly learn online, consolidate classroom knowledge, strengthen language application, and achieve synchronized online and offline growth.

Homework Class (Chinese Learning Support)
To help students consolidate classroom knowledge and improve learning efficiency, Bowen Chinese School offers a "Homework Support Class" every Sunday afternoon.
This course is open to all enrolled students, with Bowen education interns and teaching assistant teams providing one-on-one or small group tutoring, focusing on helping students complete their weekly Chinese homework and reinforce classroom content.
Tutoring Content Includes:
